Contemporary Art/South Africa: Multiple Perspectives

The participants in this panel discussion, moderated by Kate Ezra, the Nolen Curator of Education and Academic Affairs, examine South African contemporary art from multiple perspectives. Zanele Muholi is an artist whose photographs are included in the Gallery’s exhibition Contemporary Art/South Africa. Judy Hecker is Assistant Curator in the Department of Drawings and Prints at The Museum of Modern Art, New York. Chika Okeke-Agulu, Associate Professor at Princeton University, is an artist, art historian, and curator specializing in African and African diasporic art history. Presented in conjunction with the exhibition Contemporary Art/South Africa. Generously sponsored by the Martin A. Ryerson Lectureship Fund.
