Mobile healthcare (mHealth) is a fast-growing application area in which embedded Java can provide clear benefits. In this panel session, hear how different parties in the mHealth ecosystem—including Oracle, Cinterion, Orange, A&D Medical, and the GSMA—collaborated to build an end-to-end standards-based demonstrator for telehealth in which M2M Java links all involved elements of the chain in an efficient way.
This demonstrator system covers chronic care management scenarios and serves as a vehicle to showcase how Java as a flexible application environment, combined with the interoperability provided by the standards framework of the Continua Health Alliance, can help shorten time to market and significantly cut the development costs of an mHealth solution.
