October TBR 2020 | UK Black History Month TBR | Sick of Reading

Hello friends! I’m late again with my TBR this month, but I’m very excited for it! This month is Black History Month in the UK, so I am going to read a lot of books by Black British Authors. I feel like Black authors specifically from the UK is something I don’t read enough of, in part because a lot of the hyped books online are from the US, but also in part because I haven’t made the effort. So this month I have a long list of books for which I’m super excited!

Books Mentioned
Queenie by Candice Cartie Williams
Get a Life, Chloe Brown by Talia Hibert
Love in Colour by Bolu Babalola
My Name is Why by Lemm Sissay
Why I’m No Longer Talking to White People About Race by Reni Eddo-Lodge
Mr Loverman by Bernardine Evaristo
Homecoming by Colin Grant
Brit(Ish) by Afua Hirsch
The Confessions of Frannie Langton by Sarah Collins
Ordinary People by Diana Evans
The Book of Echoes by Rosanna Amaka
That Reminds me by Derek Owosu
